Crwn Exchange: A Mastermind Dinner on Burnout, Power, and Sustainable Leadership
By: Janeé Weaver
To formally convene our founding members, Crwn Network hosted its first Crwn Exchange - A Mastermind Dinner at The Vault Steakhouse in San Francisco. It was an evening designed to foster meaningful connection, strategic reflection, and executive dialogue.
The event featured globally recognized leadership strategist and organizational psychologist, Dr. Christine Coleman. Dr. Coleman has trained and advised leading organizations including Pinterest, Salesforce, Sephora, the NBA, and Major League Baseball, with her thought leadership featured in Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, and Vogue.
Over a thoughtfully curated three-course dinner, Dr. Coleman led a powerful discussion on Burnout, Power, and Sustainable Leadership, reframing burnout not as an individual shortcoming, but as a socio-relational signal shaped by systemic, relational, and organizational dynamics.
The discussion explored the invisible labor often carried by women in executive roles, including emotional stewardship, relational management, and the responsibility of absorbing institutional strain. Dr. Coleman highlighted how high-functioning exhaustion, identity saturation, and chronic responsibility without reciprocal care have become normalized experiences for many leaders.
Members participated in an interactive burnout mapping exercise. This exercise created space for candid dialogue, deeper awareness, and collective recognition of shared leadership realities.
The evening concluded with a forward-looking reflection on redefining sustainable leadership—not as endurance, but as intentional, sustainable influence.
The Crwn Exchange exemplifies Crwn Network’s commitment to providing members with access to transformative conversations, meaningful connection, and the tools to lead with clarity, sustainability, and impact.
